Preamble

TransMedia, as the owner and operator of the Glide Service, in order to establish a new standard for privacy rights online, provide for a common defense against those who improperly seek private information and ensure the tranquil use of the Glide Service do hereby establish the Glide Bill of Rights for our users:

ARTICLE I

TransMedia will recognize the paramount importance of privacy for all users of the Glide Service.

ARTICLE II

TransMedia will not voluntarily provide any information to third parties regarding our users.

ARTICLE III

TransMedia does not target personalized advertising at users; the Glide Service is free of advertising.

ARTICLE IV

TransMedia will take all reasonable steps to protect the information of our users against those who seek to improperly obtain the information.

ARTICLE V

In the event that any information of a user is compromised, TransMedia will coordinate with and provide assistance to the user to determine the source and to prevent further dissemination of the information.

ARTICLE VI

TransMedia will delete from its system the personal information of any user within seven days of termination of the Glide Service.

TransMedia will remain vigilant in these goals. TransMedia is committed to take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information and privacy of our users, and to provide autonomy from those who would intrude on their lives.

ARTICLE VII

TransMedia provides an umbrella of privacy protection for all of Glide’s services and environments. All of Glide’s privacy settings are defaulted to private. Glide user data is not mined or shared with third parties and this protection extends throughout all of Glide’s environments including search, social networking, web publishing, collaboration, productivity and file and data storage.
